Tom Griscom serves as Publisher and Executive Editor of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. He serves on the boards of Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, Chattanooga -Hamilton County Bicentennial Library, the Red Cross, the Greater Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, the UC Foundation, the college of communication at the University of Tennessee, the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy, and the Tennessee Aquarium. Prior to assuming his position with the Times Free Press in 1999, he was an executive with R.J. Reynolds, communication director in the White House and press secretary for U.S. Sen. Howard Baker of Tennessee. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he attended public schools in Hamilton County.
