Jean Harris is Vice President, Operation of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. She joined BCBST in April of 1996 when she, her husband and two children moved to Chattanooga from Wisconsin. Jean’s career in the health insurance industry began in Kansas City in 1983 with Lincoln National Life where she worked in marketing for 10 years, later transferring to operations in 1993. Due to various promotions, she and her family relocated to Ft. Wayne, IN, Louisville, KY and Milwaukee, WI before coming to Tennessee. Jean joined the Community Research Council as a board member in 1999. She began serving on the Executive Board the following year as Secretary. In 2001 she remained on the Executive Board as the Vice President.
