As a follow up to its recent report chattanoogaCITIZEN,The Community Research Council has received additional funding from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to complete a detailed analysis of what other Southeastern cities and non-profit organizations are doing in performance measurement. This effort will identify best practices, find ways in which different cities can learn from each other and explore the possibility of creating a regional network of practitioners.
 
In addition, CRC President and CEO David Eichenthal is currently working with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) to complete a national study of local government 311-customer service techonology. Eichenthal will also be speaking at the the Association of Government Accountants Second Annual National Performance Management Conference and Governing Magazine's Managing Performance Conference.
